RBA was founded by Guido Mazzacasa in October 1960, when he reached an agreement with the Aziende di Trasporto (the state transport company) to maintain suspension systems and shock absorbers. In a short time the logistic skills and entrepreneurial spirit of the business led to them organizing a tool department and maintaining mechanical components for other clients. In the beginning the company specialized in diesel and petrol motors and later general mechanics. The company overcame various problems during those years. The floods of October 1970 destroyed a lot of the company’s plant. The company responded by creating a well equipped workshop with specialized staff in 1972. The years passed and the client base increased. Our clients continually needed and demanded new technology. Technology has always been a powerful ally in the company’s work. In 1987 the company changed its name and became OFFICINE R B A LAVORAZIONI MECCANICHE SPECIALI S.n.c. di Mezzacasa Guido and sons. The new staff are ready with a tradition of hard work and know-how.
